Diddy makes it Rain on Saturday.

Pre-Grand Opening Party at Drink & Drag The new Downtown watering hole invites its 4,700-plus Facebook fans to party like VIPs during this Thursday-night bash. Want to sip on free Stoli cocktails all night? Is seeing a live performance by RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Sharon Needles on your to-do list? Then be sure to “like” the venue’s Facebook page and RSVP online. Beats by DJ Michael Graves and performances by the ladies of Drink & Drag complete the fabulous soiree. May 3, 8 p.m., free entry.

Metro McDonald's Party The fancified fast-food joint celebrates its grand opening Friday by turning its Strip-side digs into a “Vegas-inspired” club for the night. Celebrities will be on hand to serve up the eatery’s famed fare, local DJ Cyberkid will supply his sound, and showgirls will give away prize-filled balloons to partygoers. Sweetening the deal? Ten percent of the party’s proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas. Plus, when else are you going to have the opportunity to party at Mickey D’s? May 4, midnight, free entry.

Cinco De Mayo at Señor Frog’s The party-friendly Mexican eatery recently opened its fourth stateside location at Treasure Island, and it fittingly celebrates its grand opening on Cinco de Mayo. Partygoers will attempt to break the world record for the largest tequila toast at 9 p.m. and can also expect the venue’s daily entertainment lineup, including bikini contests, conga lines, karaoke and more. Bonus: Celebrity journalist Robin Leach leads the tequila salute as only he can. May 5, 11 a.m., free entry.

Rockhouse Closing Party This week we’re also saying goodbye to the Strip’s only “ultra-dive bar,” as Rockhouse closes its doors Saturday night to make way for the Linq. The venue celebrates its final night with a cocktail countdown from 10 p.m. to close: Drinks start at $6 and drop $1 each hour until 4 a.m. And at 4 a.m.? Well, the drinks should be free, but we predict Rockhouse’s loyal patrons will drink it dry long before then. May 5, all day, $5-$10, no cover before 10 p.m.

Kentucky Derby Party at the Barrymore Attention equestrian enthusiasts! Gather at the Royal House Saturday afternoon to celebrate the “fastest two minutes in sports.” Revelers can sip on $5 mint juleps and bourbon smashes or try the restaurant’s new spring menu items throughout the race. Here’s hoping the ladies honor tradition and sport some hats worthy to be worn to the iconic Churchill Downs. May 5, 10:30 a.m., free entry.

Diddy at Rain The hip-hop mogul, Cîroc brand ambassador and band-making TV star hosts the Palms nightspot Friday night, with resident DJ Exodus bringing the noise. You can bet the vodka will flow. May 5, doors at 10 p.m., $150 men, $100 women.

Deadmau5 at XS Although you can’t purchase the EDM artist’s upcoming EP The Veldt (the name refers to certain open rural spaces in South Africa) until June 25, his Monday night show doubles as a preview party for the anticipated disc. Consider this your official warning, kandi kids. May 6, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.

Outasight at Pure The recording artist is climbing the charts with his “Tonight Is the Night” single, and chances are you’ve heard it on the airwaves. He performs the hit track live for the Caesars Palace nightspot’s industry party. May 8, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, industry professionals free.
