Names of the two Las Vegas men who died in a three-vehicle crash Thursday morning near UNLV were release today by the Clark County coroner’s office.

David Anthony Mann, 26, died of blunt force trauma to his head and chest during the collision at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Swenson Street, according to the coroner’s office.

T.J. Meyers, 58, also died of blunt force trauma to his head and chest due to the collision in which his 2007 Hummer rolled over, officials said.

The crash happened around 9:22 a.m. when the Hummer headed eastbound on Flamingo sped through a red light and hit a 2012 Toyota Corolla that Mann was driving, Metro Police said.

The Hummer rolled over after crashing into a Chevrolet van carrying three people, who all sustained minor injuries, police said.

Meyers was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Mann was transported to Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center, where he died shortly after the crash.

The deaths were the 31st and 32nd traffic-related fatalities in Metro’s jurisdiction this year, police said.
