Voters of Ward 2 in and around the Summerlin area will be able to cast votes in a special election Tuesday to elect a Las Vegas City Council member to fill a seat left vacant by the new District Attorney Steve Wolfson.
From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today, voters can cast ballots at the following voting stations: Veterans Memorial Leisure Center, 101 N. Pavilion Center Drive; Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave.; and Vons, Boca Park, 820 S. Rampart Blvd.
Nine candidates are running for Wolfson's seat and a term that ends in spring 2013.
The candidates are Bob Beers, Roberta Boyers, Bob Chinn, Bruce L. Gale, Sherese Holmes, Kristine Kuzemka, F. Raja, Anthony Ruggiero, Ric Truesdell.
