Attorney found dead in Henderson

KSNV coverage of local attorney Nancy Quon found dead in her Henderson condo, March 20, 2012.
Attorney Nancy Quon was found dead today inside a bathtub in her Henderson condominium, Henderson Police said.
A family member discovered Quon’s body around 1:40 p.m. at her 2240 Village Walk residence, said Keith Paul, Henderson Police spokesman.
“No foul play was suspected,” said Paul, adding that the cause and manner of Quon’s death would be determined by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Quon, a construction-defect lawyer, was believed to be under investigation by the FBI for suspected involvement in an alleged scandal involving a homeowners association.
In 2010 Las Vegas Metro Police said Quon’s boyfriend had allegedly tried to assist Quon in a suicide attempt by giving her the drug gamma-hydroxybutyric acid, also known as GHB. The incident came after Quon survived an October 2010 house fire.
Henderson Police are still on scene investigating Quon’s death.
Wow. She seemed headed for a bad ending due to the stuff that occurred in her construction defects investigation. I think she'll pass without any accusations-I guess she just gave up. Very sad...
"Quon is not the only person tied to the HOA scandal to have died. In September of 2008, former Metro Lieutenant Chris Van Cleef committed suicide after his name surfaced in connection with the investigation."
So sad. Is it really worth taking your life? Who cares if they find you guilty of wrong doing - live with your decision and move on.
Make money the objective of life and existence will be nothing more than what can be written on paper and all of that will disappear when the paper can't be found.
Some under investigation kill themselves, some have moved to Florida. I guess some can live with the shame and others don't care.
So sad...

It's pretty sad that you JUDGE someone without knowing the FACTS behind the story. No one is perfect in this world and we have all made mistakes. Just because you move to another state doesn't mean that you are guilty with shame or just don't care. How about if someone moves because that is where their CHILDREN are??? And making suicide jokes is just in poor taste! This woman was someone's Daughter, Sister, Mother, Friend, etc. Obviously you are none of the above and heartless.
