Miami-based SXLiquors unveiled a new line of flavored vodkas Tuesday at the Nightclub and Bar Convention, which was this week in Las Vegas.
The names for the new vodkas, SXazul, SXverde, SXrosa, SXnegro and SXblanco, come from the Spanish words for the colors of the spirits and their bottles.
"Our tequila and rums infused with sensual and exotic ingredients strongly resonated with consumers, so we wanted to build upon that success and expand quickly into vodkas," SXLiquors CEO David Knight said in a statement. "We are growing aggressively, and we expect the vodkas to both accelerate sales and dramatically enhance the popularity of our brand among a broader segment of consumers."
SXazul is electric blue cane vodka with blackberry, blueberry, vanilla and rosemary flavors. SXverde is a green spirit that blends tangy apples, lemon and hints of basil. SXrosa is vodka distilled from cane and infused with the tastes of coconuts and watermelon with a hint of cilantro.
SXnegro is made by resting cane vodka in reposado tequila oak casks for several months. Finally, SXblanco is another, less complex, cane vodka.
SXLiquors launched in June 2011 and also makes infused tequilas and rums. All of its products are made and bottled in Mexico.
