Clark County Fire officials say an early morning apartment fire Saturday has left 17 people displaced.
Clark County spokesman Dan Kulin said a fire broke out at a three-story apartment building at 3665 Cambridge St. at approximately 1:50 a.m.The blaze from a first floor apartment to the second floor through a breezeway.
About 50 firefighters put out the flames and the 17 displaced residents were being assisted by the American Red Cross, officials said.
No injuries were reported but the blaze caused about $250,000 worth of damage to the property.
Investigators say the fire was accidental and caused by unattended cooking.
Residents were alerted to the blaze by smoke detectors.
