Jacob Snow to leave RTC for Henderson post in early April

Jacob Snow, general manager of the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, told his board he'll likely begin his new job as Henderson city manager in early April.

Snow suggested the board appoint Kristina Quigley, who is deputy general manager of the RTC, as its interim general manager.

Henderson announced its selection of Snow as city manager on Tuesday. In his new job, Snow will earn about $225,000 a year managing a budget of about $224 million. At the RTC in 2010, he earned $228,000 plus $120,000 in benefits, overseeing a $500 million budget.

Snow had been at the RTC for 13 years.
