The Tuesday Blend Benefit
March 13, 10:30 p.m.-2:30 a.m., $5-$10 (no cover for 21-and-over until midnight), Hard Rock Cafe (Strip), 733-7625

It has been almost a year since the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami devastated Japan, and the Tuesday Blend Project will commemorate the anniversary with a benefit for the nonprofit Renew Yamada.

Tuesday Blend is an ongoing creative mashup of young artists and talented veterans in the hip-hop community, and the fundraiser will include performances by the Korabo Taiko Japanese cultural drummers, singer Rene Ashley, rapper ABSTRAK of Campfire Music, KnuckleHead Zoo, dancers Adonis Lewis of ATeamLV and Project Arvin of MECAMME as well as the Hypnotix Dance Crew.

Guest hosts Aimee Lee Lucas and Jayar Tolentino will oversee the raffle, with prizes of artwork donated by FStudios, TNES and ICELEEF. And DJ EARWAXXX and DJ Phase of Waterhole KINGS will keep the night bumping along with everything from funk to neo-soul. Come for the great time. Stay for the great feeling of doing something good for others.
