If you can’t make it to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for this week’s races, several of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Nationwide Series stars will be coming to you.

From Sam’s Town in the east part of the valley to an Office Depot on Craig Road in the north, several businesses in Southern Nevada will be hosting free events starting Wednesday.

Visit the Speedway’s website for information about tickets for Saturday’s Sam’s Town 300 (the 200-lap Nationwide race), Sunday’s Kobalt Tools 400 (the 267-lap Sprint Cup race) and the other race-week events.

Here is a listing of what’s on tap around town — again, it’s free.

Wednesday

• 5 to 7 p.m.: Jennifer Jo Cobb of the Nationwide Series will be at Lee’s Discount Liquors, 4427 E. Sunset Road.

Thursday

• 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Eric McClure of the Nationwide Series appears at Walmart, 8060 W. Tropical Parkway.

• 1:30 p.m.: Defending Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart is at Office Depot at 1435 W. Craig Road. (Fans must have a wristband for an autograph; wristbands will be distributed at 8 a.m. with a 450 limit.)

•4:30 p.m.: The Kyle Busch Foundation is hosting a charity slot tournament at Riviera. At 6:30 p.m., Busch will arrive to play against everyone who makes the final round. The top three point earners receive an autographed die-cast car, special trophy and get their photo taken with Busch and his wife, Samantha. Unlike other events, this isn't free — entry into the tournament is $118, or $99 for Kyle Busch Fan Club Members.

• 5 to 7 p.m.: There will be a live SiriusXM broadcast with Sprint Cup driver and 2008 Nationwide champion Clint Bowyer and two-time Daytona 500 champ Michael Waltrip at The Pub inside the Monte Carlo. At 5:30, Waltrip will sign autographs; Bowyer will sign at 6 p.m.

• 6 p.m.: The NASCAR Sprint Series Hauler Parade will start on the south part of Las Vegas Boulevard and head north toward Sahara Avenue.

• 6 p.m.: Sprint Cup Series driver Greg Biffle hosts an autograph session at Team Ford, 5445 Drexel Road, in the northwest part of the valley.

• 7 to 8 p.m.: Jimmie Johnson, the Cup champion from 2006 to 2010, is taking part in a Q & A session with Chris Myers of FOX Sports in the showroom at the Suncoast. (Open to the first 250 fans.)
