Metro Police detectives arrested a Las Vegas man on Thursday in connection with the stabbing of an English tourist in May and participating in the Red Devil Fitness Spa criminal enterprise.

Robert Milk, 33, was the seventh person arrested in the Metro Police racketeering investigation that the stabbing had sparked, according to Metro officials.

He was booked at the Clark County Detention Center on a laundry list of charges from racketeering to multiple transactions involving fraud to obtaining money under false pretenses among others, Metro officials said.

Metro officials said the Red Devil Fitness Spa located at 3430 Polaris Ave., acted as a fake front for the spa’s true business — sweating people out of money. The business would have taxi drivers take tourists to the building, where scantily clad women would promise them sex for a one-time fee, Metro officials said.

The employees continued to increase the price until the customer could no longer pay, and then would kick them out, according to Metro Police. Police said those arrested in addition to Milk include Brooke Dugan, Hope Tello, Lyeisha Godfrey, Nicole Cramer, Christine Hall and James Watkins.

Officials urge those with any information to call the Metro Police Violent Crimes section at 828-5634 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.

  1. Anything that makes visitors to our city feel and be safer and leave with a good impression of our city is a probably a good thing.

Maybe an ordinance that suspends the taxi drivers licenses for 30 days for taking kick backs in connection with illegal behavior or similar would curtail some of it.

I know it's hard to turn down a free money in todays environment by it's unfortunate that we have those who will knowingly accept bribes to deliver people into a situation intended to commit criminal acts against them that is potentially fatal.

Apparently a conscience and a sense of right and wrong are not a virtue for some.

  2. I'm sure you mean alleged "Red Devil Fitness Spa criminal enterprise." While the stabbing certainly should be pursued as a battery with a deadly weapon (if unprovoked and unjustified), should there be some accountability on the part of the customer who seeks illegal sex acts within the county? Its so easy to call it a criminal enterprise when something preys on the horny with extra cash in their pocket - but if the business was to give sex for cash - it would clearly be illegal. It's a shady business to be sure, but there are lots of businesses that exploit those seeking what they should know better than seek. Caveat emptor (again except for the stabby stuff) - but really, racketeering - against a bunch of scantily clad gals that aren't stabbing anyone and by all accounts aren't prostitutes either? Um, is there a better expenditure of resources?
