Controversial boxing legend and Las Vegas resident Mike Tyson is set to head to Broadway to work with director Spike Lee this summer while juggling filming for “The Hangover, Part 3,” the final installment in the hit film franchise.
The two heavyweights have agreed to stage Mike’s one-man show “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth -- Live on Stage” for theater mogul James Nederlander on The Great White Way.
Las Vegas producer Adam Steck (Thunder From Down Under at Excalibur, Human Nature at Imperial Palace), along with Mike and his wife Kiki Tyson, brought “Undisputed Truth” to Hollywood Theater at MGM Grand in April for a mini-residency. Expect an official announcement from Mike in New York this month of an August start date.
“It’s awesome that Spike’s involved,” Mike said.
