Deadly attack
A late-night altercation Sunday east of the Strip left one man dead, Metro Police said today.
A 911 call at 10:22 p.m. reported a man down at the Mark Twain Suites, 955 E. Twain Ave., said Marcus Martin, a Metro spokesman.
A group of men and women were involved in an altercation, Martin said. One man was attacked, beaten and shot, he added. Metro Police found the victim dead at the scene.
