When magician Murray Sawchuck and his beautiful stage assistant Chloe Louise Crawford tied the knot in a secret surprise wedding Friday night, it was truly a magical affair. The groom and bride have known each other for five years in traveling the world with his magic act and now as headliner at the new Tropicana.

“We finally decided to tie the knot,” the “America’s Got Talent” semifinalist told me exclusively. A small group of close friends, Las Vegas magicians and family, including her parents who flew over from England, witnessed the ceremony in the intimacy of the lush garden of his home in the Lakes in Summerlin.

Monti Rock III, the 1970s icon, disco legend and licensed marriage minister, officiated the ceremony, which included the couple exchanging rings that had been selected by “Pawn Stars” stars at their Gold & Silver Pawn, where Murray serves as a regular expert on the top-rated History Channel show.

“We wanted the wedding to be very entertaining, yet very personal,” Murray told me. “It was all very Las Vegas, from Monti to the bridal party to the guests -- and even the centerpieces.”

“I am absolutely thrilled to have shared this lifetime moment with some of my close friends and family with the one I love,” Murray added. The new Mrs. Chloe Sawchuck told me: “It’s wonderful to have had my family join me all the way from England for this once-in-a-lifetime occasion.”

Chloe’s mother and stepfather flew from England for the wedding, while Murray’s parents traveled from Vancouver, B.C. In all, there were 35 guests. Two generations of Murray’s family were represented on the wedding cake: Murray’s grandparents’ cake ornaments and his parents’ cake top. His parents celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary in June.

Ashton Nicole, star of the topless vampire show “Bite” at the Stratosphere, served as Chloe’s bridesmaid. Murray’s best man was magician Doug “Lefty” Leferovich, who plays the role of comedy sidekick in the Tropicana show. They have been best friends for more than 12 years. His other groomsman was good friend magician Mark Bennick.

“They alone sure made it a fun, magical evening,” added spiky-haired Murray in his trademark, black-framed Armani glasses.

There were Wicked Whispers & Racy Rumors at the wedding party after the ceremony that Chloe Louise will be joining “Fantasy” at the Luxor this fall. She has been offered a role in “Bite” but wound up being photographed for the 2013 “Fantasy” calendar, which Vegas DeLuxe also covered exclusively last week.

  1. My, what cute couples and at the Trop, too. The pompadour isn't high enough, though.
