Henderson Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the plaid clad bank robber.

U.S. Bank robbed

Another Henderson bank — the second in less than a week – has been robbed by a suspect clad in plaid.

Henderson Police spokesman Keith Paul said the latest robbery took place about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at a U.S. Bank inside the Smith’s Food and Drug Center at 830 S. Boulder Highway, near Palo Verde Drive.

The suspect handed a teller a note demanding money and received an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was shown during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20’s or early 30’s, about 6 feet tall and weighing around 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a ball cap, a blue and white plaid shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

Paul said police believe the suspect in Wednesday’s robbery was the same man who on Friday robbed the America First Credit Union, 370 N. Stephanie St.

Paul urged anyone with information about either robbery to call the Henderson Police Department at (702) 267-4750 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers on the web or at (702) 385-5555.
