Map of Smith & Wollensky
Home chefs can now whip up a summer dinner like a Las Vegas steakhouse from their patio grills. That’s because they can get their steak from the Strip.
Starting Monday, Smith & Wollensky will begin offering “Steak-to-Go.” Customers can pick up raw meat from the restaurant and take it home to barbecue.
Choose from 10-ounce filet mignon (starting at $55 for two), 20-ounce bone-in ribeye (two for $70) or 21-ounce bone-in sirloin (two for $75). Save $10 when ordering four.
The steakhouse will even send the steaks home in a reusable insulated cooler for an extra $10, along with some of the house steak sauce for $5.99 and a pair of knives for $27.99. The cooler is free with a purchase of six or more steaks and carries a 10 percent discount on future meat purchases.
To give it more of that steakhouse taste, Smith & Wollensky serves up online recipes for some of its dishes.
