For the first time, platinum blonde beauty Holly Madison has talked candidly about her plans after she brings her run as the headliner in “Peepshow” at Planet Hollywood to a close Dec. 30: She says that she wants to use the time to have a baby and raise a family even if she doesn’t get married.

In an exclusive interview, her first conversation since the news of her decision to wrap up her nearly four-year run in the topless burlesque, Holly also said that she’s not leaving Las Vegas.

Here’s what else Holly had to say:

“It’s been so much fun! Over the past 3 1/2 years, I’ve been so busy working on many different things, I haven’t even stopped for a second to really look back and pick out what my favorite things were. There have been so many events, but the atomic bikini photo for the Convention and Visitors Authority stands out. A lot of really fun things, especially ‘Peepshow’ and ‘Holly’s World.’

“Robert Earl and everybody at Planet Hollywood have been so amazing to me ever since I first came to town. I’ve just had so much fun over the years. I still have six months left on my contract, so it will be almost four years with ‘Peepshow’ by the time I’m done. It’s been an amazing chunk of my life -- the most fun.

“I’m still keeping my house here, and I’ll be back and forth between L.A. and Vegas. Now I have more time to enjoy Vegas and not work all the time. You’re definitely not losing me. I love Vegas. I’ve lived in a lot of places, and this is the only place that feels like a hometown. I think it’s just a really unique city.

“Everybody who lives here is really nice, and it has a small-town feel because it’s really not a big city. It’s so much smaller than it appears, yet you have everything fun you could ever want to do on the Strip in your backyard.

“It’s really unique in that way, and everybody comes here, too, so you never have to go visit anyone else. Giving up my apartment in California after the Playboy Mansion days was definitively one of the best decisions of my life.

“I’ve had a great, great run in Vegas, and I plan to continue working and living and doing things here. This last chapter of my life has been so unforgettable. I feel like being in Vegas is one of the things that helped me do what I’ve been doing professionally because where else can you do such a large scale of burlesque show. ‘Peepshow’ really helped ‘Holly’s World’ be unique and stand out among the other single-girl reality TV shows out there set in L.A.

“The whole Vegas experience has definitely strengthened my confidence, too. It helped me find my identity; it’s done a lot for me.”

I know that Holly has a standing invitation to return to “Peepshow” whenever she wishes. But I wanted to know what she’s really going to do now. “Have you thought that out yet?” I asked her.

Holly continued: “I have a lot of things I want to do. The first thing … well, professionally, the things I want do aren’t really ready to be talked about or revealed just yet. There are a lot of exciting things to come.

“But the first makes me a real businesswoman coming out with a new pet product line I will debut this September at the Pet Industry Super Zoo convention in Mandalay Bay. It’s a lot of quality pet products that I’m really proud of -- just dogs for now, but cats are already in the works and then other animals like ferrets and guinea pigs.

“I’m developing a new TV project, but I want to start a family. I want to return to the Vegas stage sometime after I pop out a kid whether it’s in ‘Peepshow’ or another production. We’ll see. I’m not really too concerned about marriage right now; it’s more about having a family. It’s OK to have a baby even though I might not be married. Family to me is real, and being in a committed relationship is a bonus on top of that. I have that relationship now.

(It has been widely reported that Holly and Electric Daisy Carnival founder Pasquale Rotella have been quietly yet seriously dating the past six months.)

“I’m not concerned about planning a wedding or getting married. I think marriage should be fair, and everybody should be allowed to do it when they want and not when people think they should.

“And while on that subject of marriage, I really think that gay marriage should be legalized in Nevada. I think it would be really good for Las Vegas’ economy. I think that Las Vegas is the Marriage Capital of the World, and I think it’s a shame that there are other states ahead of us at the moment.”

Holly has her act together and her life mapped out, not that I ever doubted she wouldn’t for a moment. “I’m very happy,” she told me.

“Leaving ‘Peepshow’ is definitely bittersweet, but it’s time. It’s time to start new things. After four years of doing it, I can look forward to a break that gets my life back to normal rather than living life at the opposite time of everybody else. ‘Peepshow’ has been great … but there are a few things in life you can’t do when you’re expected to be 100 pounds onstage all the time. So now for a little break and time to mix things up a little bit!”

My final question for Holly was if she would now have the time to be serious about the political career she’d joked about in her reality TV show: “Do you think you might down the road since you’re staying in Las Vegas become the most glamorous politician in the city, in the county, in the state?

“I would love to,” she said firmly. “But definitely not until I’m much, much older, much, much more educated. Like in my 50s after I raise a family. The family thing is now one of my main goals now that I have this break coming up. I’d like that -- my children -- to pass on any longevity I have onstage or on television.”

No word yet as to whom or how many guest stars will be taking her place, but you’ll be the first to know here at Vegas DeLuxe.

Meantime there are strong rumors that Cee Lo Green’s “Loberace” set to premiere in the Peepshow theater Aug. 29 has been pushed back to 2013 because of his time commitment with NBC’s “The Voice.” Stay tuned!

  1. She must have a fetish for short men as Rotella is about 5'4".
Also, she probably can't marry him, as he soon may be looking thorough bars.

  2. Love Holly Madison and truly praise her for elevating womanhood. She has proven that there is a life after the Playboy Mansion, and has shown community spirit and compassion along the way. Best wishes to you, Holly, in all that you do and where your heart takes you!

    Blessings and Peace,
    Star

  3. How sad for the child with no husband on the scene and the mothers checkered past. Hopefully it will not be a female child. It's not like she can tell her child "Mommy didn't pose nude" etc...
    Just sad.

  4. Blonde??
