I found the column by Karen Owen, “Love is being able to truly forgive when a person says he’s sorry,” in Saturday’s Sun extremely offensive. Comparing Jane Fonda’s actions to someone cheating on his wife or someone making a simple mistake is ridiculous. Fonda was a traitor to our country during a time of war. To make it seem like a simple mistake dishonors the American public and hundreds of thousands of veterans.
