A local Capriotti’s shop is in trouble with corporate over a ‘boobs and Bobbies’ promotion

Boobs and Bobbies

The final verdict of the controversial issue will be decided in court.

Is it just me or does “boobs and Bobbies” sounds like an awful combination? A Bobbie is a Thanksgiving turkey sandwich with the fixins inside—nothing wrong with that. And boobs are lovely, too, of course. But combined? There’s nothing sexy about stuffing and mayo. Still, boobs and Bobs were hooked up for a promotion—a controversial one, as it turns out. Capriotti’s corporate alleges that sandwich shop owner Natalie DeLuca Taylor violated her franchise agreement when she sold sandwiches to the Crazy Horse III strip club, which CH3, in turn, sold to customers. Taylor maintains she didn’t know the sandwiches would be used for a “boobs and Bobbies” promotion, but the family-friendly sandwich biz says she did, and that the alliterative promotion sullied the company’s good name. Final verdict will go to the courts.
