The Korn frontman brings the noise to Clash Fridays this week at Rain.

The party that bills itself as the “largest girl 4 girl event in Vegas” is back! After installments at Krave (under the “CandyBar” moniker) and the Bootlegger, DJ and nightlife guru Lisa Pittman recently brought her BootyBar bash to Share Nightclub. The monthly event will be held every third Wednesday, with opportunities to win tickets to the Dinah Shore Weekend in Palm Springs on March 21. —Mark Adams

We know. You love green beer, corned beef and The Pogues as much as the next honorary Irishman, but when St. Patrick’s Day falls midweek, it puts a damper on the celebration. Well, count your lucky shamrocks. This year March 17 is a Saturday, and M Resort is hosting a whiskey tasting party just to be sure your holiday comes with a side of wicked hangover. Held at the new M Pavilion, Rock the Shamrock will include tastings of more than 70 craft whiskeys, specialty cocktails, themed snacks and a cigar terrace. Tickets are $50 and available at 797-1878.

This weekend, Rain nightclub takes a walk on the darker side with J. Devil, the DJing alter ego of Korn frontman Jonathan Davis. Davis will take over the turntables for a special edition of the club’s Clash Fridays on March 2. Will the rocker bring a bit of his metal sensibility to the Palms venue? You’ll have to show up and find out. —Sarah Feldberg
