Chippendales guest host Jake Pavelka: ‘My stamina is unstoppable’

Chippendales at the Rio is about to get even hotter starting tonight when “The Bachelor” star and “Dancing With the Stars” contestant Jake Pavelka appears as celebrity guest host through March 18. Jake tells me that he’s not planning to strip down to boxers or briefs, but says his tuxedo jacket and V-neck shirt may come off in all the fun: “I just know every night will be wild!”

Jake told me: “I saw the show for the first time two weeks ago. It’s an incredibly well produced and well-oiled spectacle of sexy choreography. I want our run to be as rowdy as possible, so why would I want to fight off the women?

“Bring it on! My stamina is unstoppable. I’m really excited, looking forward to it, and if every girl in the audience wants to throw her underwear at me, I’m all for it.” Jake follows in the footsteps of guest hosts and stars Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Jeff Timmons, Ricardo Laguna and others.

The 5’11,” 180-pound, blue-eyed, sandy-blond stud says he’ll be performing six shows a week. Coyly, he added: “I just might have some roses to hand out, even though until now the roses have gotten me in trouble.” He says he’s still in regular touch with his “Bachelor” and “Bachelor Pad” family, and they called to congratulate him on the Chippendales gig. “They’ve been behind me in everything I’ve done,” he added.

His actress girlfriend Ashley Vickers also is 100 percent supportive of him being the subject attention from some very aggressive girls -- again! They met on the short-lived Mario Lopez TV show “The Hater” when she had to counsel a female hater of Jake’s who eventually admitted that she’d only heard what had been said about him second hand from tabloids and didn’t know him personally.

“It took me three months of chasing Ashley to get a drinks date with her,” Jake told me. “We had a very rocky beginning, but now all is great. In fact, she was the first I told about the Chippendales opportunity, and she said, ‘Go for it, grab the opportunity.’

“So I’m all ready to host 350 wild women every night in Las Vegas, where everything goes -- and I hope it does.”
