Four people injured in car accident

Four young adults were taken to University Medical Center Friday night after a car accident on East Lake Mead Boulevard and North Lamb Boulevard, according to Metro Police.

Police say Jessica Rubinstein, 19, Timothy Rubinstein, 20, Dominic Russell, 21, and an unidentified underage female suffered minor to critical injuries in a 1998 Honda Civic about 10:20 p.m. when Jessica failed to yield to a 1995 Ford F150 pickup truck at a left turn.

The front of the truck struck the passenger side of the Honda, police say. The driver of the truck remained at the scene with no injuries as the four occupants of the Honda were transported to the hospital, police said.

The accident is under investigation by Metro’s Accident Investigation Section.
