Buzzed indie-folk band Bon Iver, whose eponymous second disc earned 2011 Album of the Year honors from Pitchfork, will play the Joint on Thursday, April 12, two days before its Coachella Weekend 1 performance.

Tickets are priced $31-$36 (plus fees) and go on sale Saturday, February 11 at noon Vegas time.

The group, fronted by Wisconsin singer/songwriter Justin Vernon, played two songs on Saturday Night Live this past weekend. Bon Iver has been nominated in four Grammy categories this year: Record of the Year ("Holocene"), Best New Artist, Song of the Year ("Holocene") and Best Alternative Music Album.

Experimental rock band All Tiny Creatures, also from Wisconsin, is scheduled to open the Las Vegas show.

Other Coachella acts scheduled to play Las Vegas include The Shins (April 13) and Justice with The Rapture (April 19), both at the Cosmopolitan pool, Madness (April 14 at House of Blues) and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds (April 20 at the Pearl).
