Crash
Metro Police say a single-vehicle rollover crash killed a 30-year-old Las Vegas man Friday night near Nellis Air Force Base at the 11000 block of U.S. Highway 91.
The crash occurred at 10:31 p.m. when the driver was traveling at a high speed in his 2003 Honda CRV. He veered off the roadway and up an embankment into the desert area, causing the SUV to begin rolling, police said.
The driver was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The Clark County Coroner’s office will identify the driver pending notification of the next of kin.
This is the 10th traffic related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction this year. The accident is under investigation by Metro’s Accident Investigation Section.

What does it take for Nevada to make seat belt law mandatory, remember its only a secondary offense which means unless there is a violation other than seat belt being worn, you cannot be stopped. This guy probably could of been saved if seat belt law was mandatory.
