Police arrest second suspect in North Las Vegas killing

North Las Vegas Police arrested Walter Clark, 31, on Feb. 3, 2012, in connection with a shooting that left one man dead.

North Las Vegas Police arrested Walter Clark, 31, on Feb. 3, 2012, in connection with a shooting that left one man dead.

Authorities have arrested a second suspect today in connection with the Jan. 22 shooting that left one North Las Vegas man dead and another man injured.

A multijurisdictional task force located Walter Clark, 31, at a local motel where he was taken into custody without incident, North Las Vegas Police said.

Clark was booked into the North Las Vegas Detention Center on a count of murder with a deadly weapon and attempted murder with a deadly weapon, police said.

Clark was arrested for his alleged involvement in a shooting that happened in the backyard on the 2600 block of Ward Street, police said.

Police say Clark’s arrest is part of an ongoing investigation, and further details will be released as they become available.
