A recessed light near the valet stand at the Forum Shops at Caesars sparked a fire Monday morning.
The Clark County Fire Department responded to the reported fire at 9:46 a.m. near the valet stand. Firefighters found burning in a space between a bridge and the parking structure, and were able to bring the fire under control, Capt. John Steinbeck reported.
The Forum Shops driveway was shut down for approximately 30 minutes while crews worked. The fire did not extend into the parking garage and no smoke or fire reached any interior area of the property. No evacuation was needed to the property, and there were no reported injuries, Steinbeck said.
Steinbeck described the damage as “very minimal.”
