Both the mother and father accused of child neglect and murder in the deaths of three children earlier this year are in custody.

Clark County Detention Center records show Amy Hatzenfiller,27, also known as Amy Hatzenpiller, was booked into jail Thursday evening. Shane J. Gouailhardou, 22, was booked into jail Sunday. Both are being held on $600,000 bond.

Bill Cassel, a Metro Police spokesman, said Hatzenfiller was arrested Thursday afternoon in a residence in the 2100 block of Castleberry.

An indictment handed up Dec. 18 in Clark County District Court charged Hatzenfiller and Gouailhardou with three counts of second-degree murder and three counts of child abuse, neglect or endangerment with substantial bodily harm in the June 15 deaths of David Gouailhardou, 2, Skylar Lafia, 2, and Aryana Lafia, 1. The children died in a fire at the Van’s Trailer Oasis mobile home park, 3610 Las Vegas Boulevard North.

Hatzenfiller is the mother of Skylar and Aryana Lafia; Shane Gouailhardou is the father of David Gouailhardou.

The indictment says Hatzenpiller and Shane Gouailhardou were high on methamphetamine on the morning of the fire and too impaired to care for the children when the fire engulfed their home.

Hatzenfiller and Shane Gouailhardou had moved their family into the mobile home less than a week before the fire.
