Officials identify two killed in Christmas Day mobile home fire

The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified the two victims of a mobile home fire on Christmas morning as Charito Whittier, 24, and Angelo Romero, 25, both of Las Vegas.

Firefighters received reports of the fire around 7 a.m. at the Miracle Mile Mobile Home Park at 3642 Boulder Highway, space 17A. Heavy flames were seen coming from the back and underneath the mobile home.

Whittier and Romero were found dead in the master bedroom. The coroner’s office is still working to determine a cause of death.
