9 things discovered at the bottom of Siren’s Cove at TI

Workers never know what they’re going to find at the bottom of the bay at Treasure Island. Shopping carts, baby strollers, even a heavy concrete trash receptacle are among the items found when workers drain the 1.5 million gallon Siren’s Cove for its annual maintenance. 1. very nice treasure and good blog. thanks for sharing this Taxi Cab blog.

  2. It is my understanding that Jade Morris, a Las Vegas 10 year old child is still missing.

Why is it that one of the most prominent papers in Las Vegas prefers to run a story on "what is at the bottom of a Las Vegas show"?

This missing child story is gaining traction at the national level, yet this paper doesn't even have a link to the story on their front page?

Why? Dare I ask if this was a little "White" girl - would she be plastered all over the front page?

Honestly, why is this story not even on the front page? Is this an unfair question? If your child was missing - wouldn't you want your local news to cover the story?

As a community - we should work together - that means encouraging our news sources to publicize stories that are important to our community.

Instead, I see a story about a bird decapitation? Do people understand the chickens they eat were slaughtered in a worse manner? How about the pork, the beef, all slaughtered for your consumption. And we focus on a single incident involving one bird?

  3. *Give it a break with your racist drivel UNLV702. You should of been out there helping search for the little girl with the other "white" people you hate so much.*

I had no idea they find that much stuff in that pool of water. Figured it would be coins, etc. Great article.

  4. Got to love people who comment on a story they don't like by writing multiple paragraphs in the comment section about it.
