Police are searching for a 10-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday, Dec. 21.
Jade Morris was last seen near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Alta Drive, Metro Police said in a report. She was seen wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt and a long brown jacket. She’s described by police as black, about 5 feet tall, around 70 pounds and was last seen wearing pigtails. Morris was last seen in the custody of Brenda Stokes, who was driving a red 2007 four-door Saab, according to police.

Brenda Stokes? The same Brenda as the blackjack dealer who attacked another dealer, at the Bellagio?
Unfortunately, LP, you are correct. I saw a local story on this tonight and apparently the person of interest, Ms. Stokes, won't speak about the location of the girl until she speaks with an attorney.
That doesn't bode well. I hope the kid is okay.
@Bob She was last seen Friday around 5 with the girl and around 9:30 is when she committed the attack on her co-worker!
When one (B. Stokes) displays violent behavior once, she'll do it over and over and over again. We've learned some of that and have some mandatory sentences. Time to get serious. Once convicted of (intentional and/or negligent) violence, lock them up forever or we are all in danger at every turn. When an individual has little to no concern for anybody but herself, there is no redemption in this life. Pray for their future incarnations. Mental Health cannot re-manufacture her brain into human.
Bob, I suspect they alrady have my number. But, I've taken on lawyers and won, many times. Even New York types. I don't want to work on her brain. That would be too much. Until the state of medical arts improves light years..... If we can do any re-engineering let's work WITH those who have and can perform: academic results, work history, work ethic.... Enough concern already for the dregs. Let's limit that concern to safety and security for them and us. Check out the AP headlines to the right--Spain: DNA test for immigrants. Per story, don't know the "illegal" when they speak of those awaiting acceptance.
