Police exchange gunfire with man at convenience store

Three robberies and an officer-involved shooting Monday morning ended with one man in custody and a list of unanswered questions, Metro Police said. No one was injured when the man shot at an officer, who returned fire, police said. The first robbery was reported about 1:30 a.m. at a 7-Eleven in the 6300 block of East Lake Mead Boulevard, Metro Police Officer Laura Meltzer said. A second call of a robbery of an individual, either inside or outside another 7-Eleven, this one in the 4600 block of East Charleston Boulevard, came in about 10 minutes later, Meltzer said.   2. Shots fired and nobody hit. Whats wrong with METRO, better get to the range and practice your shooting if you want some of that easy paid vaction.
