Updated Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 | 1:10 a.m.

Up until Thursday, CLS Transportation owner Charles Horky's life appeared to be the epitome of an American success story. He began his company with one limousine in Los Angeles and grew it into a multimillion-dollar business, according to the CLS Las Vegas website. He expanded his services to New York, and then in 1994, he purchased a pre-existing chauffeur service in Las Vegas. His Las Vegas branch became one of the top five limousine operations in Nevada. It has managed 100 limousines and 19 buses and offers Rolls-Royces and Mercedes-Benzes. It is also one of 47 companies certified to operate ...

  1. Another reason why Vegas rules!

  2. Let me show you my shocked look!

  3. What? You're kidding me! A local limo company may have been a front for crack and hookers? I'm shocked at the news!

Next thing we''ll find out is that the Asian massage parlors do more than massages.

    I'm stunned!

  4. Welcome to Vegas, the land of no surprises.

  5. They are just providing much needed services to our tourists and locals. Feds, narcs, and other panty wastes, Take a Hike out of Sin Sity.

  6. What about all the free meals and drinks businesses give to Metro and other cops???? And other freebies??? Do the cops pay income taxes on the free and half price meals and lap dances they get???

  7. Since 2008, there's a black eye in this someplace for some agency chief in Nevada responsible for regulating these limo company's . It's sad when the fed has to do a state regulatory agency's job. Especially regarding prostitution since its not a federal crime or a state crime either only a clark county crime.

  8. Here's some guys who made a good living on what the consumer wants. This is free enterprise at its best.

The real problem here is the CIA wants all the money from drugs and these cut into CIA profits.

Just legalize and tax drugs. The reality is that rich people get all the drugs they want and nobody bothers them.

Hopefully, they have good lawyers and can get off.

  9. The bank & credit card fraud are easy to prove. These guys are all going down-big time.

  10. What about the $100 flat fee cab ride to Crystal? One way? Is that violating the Mann Act?

This is obviously something the Nye County people put into effect to protect their opporations. Cab companies get big fares and refferals to take people to Crystal and Homestead. The long cab rides contribute to global warming. The casinos do not like people taking a 4 hour trip to Pahrump and back, so they hire a local limo ride.

Also what about the coed pole dancing "classes?"

  11. Prostitute should be given a work and health card so they can start paying taxes.

  12. Drugs and whores for people hiring limos? Meh, no one cares. Horky should have left it at that. But he committed fraud and stole money from tourists, so he and his cohorts deserve to get busted.

  13. Thats why tourist use limo services. They are looking for the "Hook Up"

  14. It's too bad the religious and security control freaks also control the State Legislature and refuse to legalize or tax prostitution. That would bring us 1) in line with 5000 years of human history and most of the rest of the non-hypocritical/religious/ideological world; 2) would eliminate the myriad of ills the do-gooders and police shed crocodile tears over (abuse of women, pimps, teen prostitutes, etc. etc.); and 3) revenues that the state claims it needs. Until prostitution, church real estate, and marijuana are taxed, we shouldn't tolerate one cent of the Legislature's planned "revenue enhancements". Ed Uehling

  15. doling out meth and coke should send them up the river for a long long long long long time

all transportation companies must have a certified drug supervisor to conduct legal drug testing on suspected drug use - if the drivers/bosses were selling it then they were taking it too

so not only were these crooks engaged in criminal acts but they were endagering their clients when they were high on drugs and driving limosines with clients inside

were's the results from the drug testing? limo companies are required to keep records for inspection. where's the state and federal mandated inspection reports? who at the state and/or federal level didnt inspect this commercial driving enterprise.

somebody higher up in government was on the take big time from these bums. this runs deeper than these limo crooks. a lot deeper

dig deeper and you will find local, state and federal government crooks were in on it, too. take a good look at their bank accounts and lifestyles away from their cushy government job. it wouldnt surprise me if law enforcment badges were deep on the take on this one

  16. I don't think most in the community are shocked or terribly upset about the drugs and hookers, but the fraudulent credit card charges and bank deposits are undeniably criminal and wrong.

If true, these guys got too greedy and they'll get what they deserve.

  17. Did this scumbag actually think he would not get caught. He is going to deal with the IRS Criminal Fraud section and they will spend months examining all of his records. He is no American success story. Just a criminal.

  18. Worse kept secret in town!
