Boy hospitalized after running into truck on bike

Bicyclist in accident

An 11-year-old boy was transported to the hospital after he darted into traffic on his bicycle and hit the side of a truck, Henderson Police spokesman Keith Paul said.

The accident happened about 8:40 a.m. on Greenway Road near Mission Drive, Paul said.

The boy was taken to the St. Rose Dominican Hospitals — Siena Campus with injuries that were not life-threatening, Paul said.
