  1. 27 demerits is really "dropping the ball"!!

  2. The health inspection was just posted at

    http://www.southernnevadahealthdistrict....

Golden Nugget is the top one- 5 demerits for unwholesome food. Ouch!

  3. Awhile back I wrote a bad review on Yelp regarding the Carson Street Cafe. I had no idea about any pest infestation, but I do know that over the years the quality of the place and the food has really gone downhill. It used to be a favorite. Guess we may need to reconsider a visit anytime soon.

  4. And their last inspection was 17 months ago. What's with that?

  5. Keep this up and the AAA 4 Diamond rating is in serious trouble!!

  6. There's really no excuse for that. If this place is owned by the casino and not just rented space there should be a hierarchy of restaurant managers, F&B managers and even casino managers to oversee and lookin on the operation. Saying the ball was dropped is an understatement.

  7. I think they mistook customers for pests.

  8. So, that's why my food was moving on the plate.

  9. Isn't that what their core busness is? Makes you wonder about the rest.

  10. Say what you want about Wynn...at least nothing like this happened on his watch. It's sad to see the former Wynn properties become dumps.

  11. Enjoyed this place for over 30 years. With the menu change under present ownership my wife and I decided to look elsewhere on future visits even before this incident. But, we still found the serving staff the best always, so this decline is so undeserved on their part.

  12. The problems at Golden Nugget seem to have begun around 2011 when they got a C grade. Since then they have had several B grades, some A grades and now they have slipped back.
Something isn't happening on a management level.

  13. These smaller casinos just don't have the "hush" money that the strip casinos have...

  14. Love how they blame an OUTSIDE COMPANY, i cant believe the employees, managers ect didnt realize the problem. They are trying to make it out as someone else's problem. Suck it up and admit you have inadequate management in place to run these venues.

  15. First DJTs now this. Donald TrDump is FIRED!

  16. Maybe if they offered a decent wage they'd get professionals in their kitchens.

  17. Dean Heller recently gave a speech before Congress, claiming Government regulations were driving up the cost of business, the price of goods to the consumer and forcing businesses to cut corners or go bankrupt.

Unfortunately for the consumer, he forgot to include that filling up the emergency rooms in hospitals was driving up the cost of stomach pumps, megadoses of antibiotics and Get Well Cards for the afflicted, but Hallmark never complained.
