CARSON CITY — Gov. Brian Sandoval has named two Las Vegans to state boards.
Brian Ayala, president of Ayala’s Concession Group, an airport retail concession business, has been appointed to the Nevada Commission on Tourism. He succeeds Charles Bowling, whose term expired.
The governor said Ayala’s business at the airport “affords him a front-row seat to the wants and needs of tourists to Southern Nevada.”
Victor Chaltiel has been named to replace William Wiedner, who resigned from the Governor’s Board of Economic Development. Chaltiel is founder and chairman of Redhills Ventures and has 30 years in the health care industry.
Sandoval said Chaltiel’s experience in the health care industry will help in economic development efforts.
CORRECTION: This story has been updated with the correct spelling of Charles Bowling's name. | (December 11, 2012)
