Here’s the 411 on the happenings tonight in the Entertainment Capital of the World:
Las Vegas gets its very first look at all 89 Miss Universe Pageant contestants when some of the world’s most beautiful women make their official debut on a runway fashion show at the Planet Hollywood mezzanine at 5 p.m. It’s free and open to the public and includes a meet-and-greet. Then they all head to Buca di Beppo for dinner. (Incidentally, the pageant princesses were at “Jubilee!” at Bally’s today. More details soon.)
Manny Pacquiao’s sparring partner Raymundo Beltran of Mexico defends his North American Boxing Federation lightweight crown against Ji-Hoon Kim of South Korea at the Mirage. Ji-Hoon has 18 KOs, while Raymundo has 17.
The Shins present Holiday Havoc in the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel with Passion Pit, Youngblood Hawke and AwolNation.
Megadeth plays House of Blues at Mandalay Bay.
Explicit comedian Andrew Dice Clay starts a new four-night run at the Riviera.
Milagro tequila ambassador Gaston Martinez plays mixologist for a drink-and-dine party at Tao in the Venetian.
Our first-week coverage the 2012 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo at the Thomas & Mack Center posted today includes Rodney Carrington at MGM Grand, the Fan Fest and Cowboy Christmas opening at the Convention Center, Country Christmas at Sands Expo and Tracy Lawrence kicking off the shows at Fan Fest.
