Updated Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 | 7 p.m.

Police are in search of a vehicle stolen from a North Las Vegas man who was stabbed to death.

The vehicle in question is a 2006 white Dodge Sprinter cargo van with Nevada license plates 636 YFH, North Las Vegas Police said.

The victim, 47, was found dead with multiple stab wounds inside his home Thursday morning, North Las Vegas Police spokeswoman Chrissie Coon said.

Officers found the victim after police received reports about 3 a.m. of a suspicious situation at a home in the 2800 block of Haddock Avenue, Coon said.

Preliminary investigation indicated the stabbing occurred inside the home, she said. No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call North Las Vegas Police at (702) 633-9111 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
