Pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by car

A person suffered life-threatening head injuries after being struck by a vehicle and then was trapped underneath it. Around 1 p.m. Monday, a vehicle hit the pedestrian at Palomino Lane and Rancho Drive, Metro Police officer Jose Hernandez said. The victim is at University Medical Center with life-threteaning injuries.
