Moapa Valley’s Jared Repp had five carries for 87 yards and three touchdowns Friday, helping the Pirates’ football team to a 66-0 victory against visiting Clark.
Clark failed to gain a first down and had no true scoring chance, losing for the second straight week by lopsided fashion to open the season. Lance Hilton recorded two interceptions as part of the defensive effort for Moapa Valley.
Repp also blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown, and his brother, Jake, added 28 rushing yards and a touchdown on three carries.
Connor Mortensen, Moapa Valley’s leading rusher, had a touchdown on three carries in limited action.
“I thought we were pretty sharp,” Moapa Valley coach Brent Lewis said.
