Metro officers responding to calls of an early morning burglary in the northeastern valley discovered a deceased person in a vehicle parked on the driveway of an unoccupied residence.
Police responded at 4:32 a.m. to a burglary in progress on the 4000 block of Alameda Avenue, near North Sandhill Road and East Stewart Avenue, Metro Police spokesperson Laura Meltzer said.
It is unknown at this time if the deceased person is related to the reported burglary, Meltzer said.
Metro’s homicide detail is investigating the incident.
