TMZ photos give partying Prince Harry more exposure

Prince Harry, seen here smiling in Rio de Janeiro in March, has found himself in hot water now that naked photos of him partying in Las Vegas have been leaked. “Harry has always been exuberant and it’s just the way he lets off steam,” a source told the Daily Mail.

A firestorm over nude photos of Prince Harry and an unidentified beauty in a suite at the Wynn has erupted on both sides of the Atlantic. Buckingham Palace took the unusual step this morning of urging British newspapers not to print leaked cell phone photos of the sexy shenanigans.

Naked Prince Harry — seen in the full Monty from front and back on TMZ — was set to return to London today. U.K. royal watchers say he’s certain to be called on the carpet about his four-day provocative party spree in Las Vegas. That included his 3 a.m. strip-down-to-his jeans dive in the XS pool at Encore to challenge Olympic champion Ryan Lochte in a race and now his randy romp with a nude beauty as they shed their clothes during a game at the luxury suite’s pool table.

One photo shows him hugging a naked woman with his bare bum on show to the world and another as he hides the "royal jewels" in his hands with the unknown girl hiding behind him. A spokesman at the Palace confirmed to London’s Daily Mail that the photos were genuine.

Incredibly, it appears that the red-headed royal invited several partygoers he didn’t know from the XS swim contest back to his suite to continue the "raucous" party with a bunch of "hot chicks,” as TMZ described the scene.

Reporters Martin Robinson and Rebecca English at my former Daily Mail newspaper stated: “The third in line to the throne has been accused of bringing the Royal Family into global disrepute after the pictures were leaked. The grainy shots, taken on a fellow reveler’s mobile phone, show the Queen’s grandson stark naked -- apart from a distinctive thong necklace -- playing a game of ‘naked billiards’ in his high rollers’ suite at the five-star Wynn Hotel. In one picture, the prince can be seen cupping his hands around his groin in a fruitless bid to preserve his modesty as the dark-haired girl hides behind him. He can then be seen bear hugging a nude girl by the side of the pool table as other partygoers look on.

“The prince’s advisers at St. James’s Palace were this morning locked in meetings about how best to handle the scandal as Harry flew back to Britain to resume his military duties. However, senior royal sources made clear to MailOnline that the prince was in his hotel suite on a private holiday and had expected a 'reasonable degree of privacy.' Another source close to the prince added: ‘Harry has always been exuberant, and it's just the way he lets off steam.'

“He could face a meeting with his Army superiors when he returns later today. Their rules state that 'social misbehavior' is not acceptable, especially if it tarnishes the reputation of Britain's armed forces.”

Larger questions loom about the scandal: How did Prince Harry’s 24/7 security team of British police officers fail to block the cell phone photos being taken?

Earlier on his weekend Las Vegas visit, HRH Harry had been captured on video and in photos while he was at Wet Republic in MGM Grand. Scores of paparazzi reporters and cameramen had raced into town to catch his over-the-top party antics and betting big to roll the dice to play craps.

  1. Harry should pick his friends better, especially when they decide to play a game that requires getting naked in a Vegas hotel room!

Also, I haven't seen any "firestorm" about these photos generated on this side of the Atlantic!! Most comments I've seen were positive. He is a young, SINGLE guy having a good time in Vegas - just like anyone else.

@saltashsally: please......no crime was committed. Leave the guy alone and quit pontificating. And my guess is the Brits won't think much of this either except for those "stick up their butts" folks who don't like any Royal acting normal.

PS The guy is in great shape!!!!

  2. I guess the days of "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" are over.

  3. Don't trust anyone in LV! Was this a mobile phone shot or the hotel security camera? lol

Best to have his parties at home, with a select guest list and security to protect Prince Harry's privacy, especially if he isn't in a state to comprehend what is happening around him.

I think it is ridiculous to have allowed this to happen.
