The Pahrump man killed in a single-vehicle rollover Monday evening in Laughlin was identified today as 31-year-old Benjamin Michael Labee.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office said Labee died of multiple blunt-force trauma of the torso.
Labee was driving east about 8:17 p.m. Monday on Casino Drive when his Toyota 4Runner veered onto a gravel shoulder, according to Metro Police. The vehicle then overcorrected, re-entered the roadway and started rolling. Labee was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Two juvenile passengers, a 6-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl, sustained minor injuries and were transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City, Ariz.
Labee’s death marked the 78th traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction in 2012.
