Two teenagers are in custody in the stabbing death of a man whose body was found Monday at a northeast valley residence.
Metro Police said Jose Martinez, 19, and a 17-year-old juvenile have been arrested, each on counts of murder with a deadly weapon and conspiracy.
Homicide detectives began their investigation after a family member of the victim reported finding the body about 12:13 p.m. Monday at a home in the 2500 block of San Marcos Street, near Carey Avenue and Pecos Road. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering what appeared to be multiple stab wounds.
Martinez is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center without bail. He is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday. The juvenile’s status was not immediately clear.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office has not yet identified the victim.
