A man died from gunshot wounds at North Vista Hospital about 8:20 p.m. Tuesday. Twenty minutes earlier, Metro Police arrived to what they believe was the scene of that shooting.
Police received a call Tuesday night about shots fired in the 2800 block of Constantine Avenue. Metro patrol officers found empty shell casings and a vehicle with bullet holes in it.
Officials said that about 20 minutes later, a man with gunshot wounds arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle. He later was pronounced dead.
Detectives suspect the two incidents are linked, police said. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
