Hot Spots: Cee Lo at 1 Oak, ‘Fantasy’ headliner Lorena Peril at LAX and more

Lorena Peril

Tom Donoghue

Fantasy headliner Lorena Peril performs her new single at LAX Saturday night.

Cee Lo at 1 Oak The Grammy-winning recording artist will soon be a fixture on the Strip, when his Loberace show arrives at Planet Hollywood in August. Instead of judging others’ vocal talents (as he does on NBC’s The Voice), the Gnarls Barkley crooner will take the mic Friday night for a special performance at the Mirage nightclub. April 27, doors at 10:30 p.m., $40 men, $30 women.

Redfoo at Lavo The LMFAO DJ brought his signature style to Marquee with the monthly Party Rock Monday—complete with foam fingers, inflatable zebras and excessive spandex. Expect something similar from the new La Freak Fridays concept at Lavo, another Redfoo brainchild. This week’s installment is extra-special, as the afro’d one himself takes the tables to kick off the reoccurring event. April 27, doors at 10:30 p.m., $20, local ladies free.

Summer Pool Party Safari Launch at Rumor Local event company Collective Zoo launches a series of fun-filled fêtes at the boutique hotel on Saturday, with future dates at various venues throughout the city. Partygoers are encouraged to bring water guns, partake in an inflatable water slide and a 30-foot-long Slip ’n Slide, play drinking game relays (with prizes!) and more. April 28, noon, free.

Lorena Peril at LAX Watch out, Christina! The Fantasy headliner performs her first single, “Dance on Me” (now the opening number in the topless revue), Saturday night. Clubgoers can check the track out on iTunes, along with her other single “Soulja,” which she’ll also be performing at the Luxor nightspot. Resident DJ Gusto also supplies his sound. April 28, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.

Joey Lawrence at Chateau Whoa! The actor, maybe best known for his role on Blossom, blew out 36 candles last week. But really, what’s a celebrity birthday without a Vegas celebration? Lawrence adds another candle to his cake Saturday at the Paris nightspot. Bringing the noise: DJ Bad Boy Bill. April 28, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.

Jessica Sutta at Krave The former Pussycat Doll recently embarked on a solo career and reached the top of Billboard’s Hot Dance chart with her “Show Me” single. She takes the gay club’s stage Saturday night, with sounds also supplied by resident DJs Mikey Francis and Scotty Thomson. April 28, doors at 10:30 p.m., $20, locals free before 12:30 a.m.

Toga Party at Artisan To-ga! To-ga! To-ga! The college party staple that was forever immortalized in National Lampoon’s Animal House is going down at the off-Strip hotel Sunday night. Put on your Ancient Rome-inspired attire and enjoy drink specials ($3 “upside down” margaritas, $5 Ketel One cocktails, Bud Lights and Shock Tops) and beats by DJ JustIN Key. Best of all? To honor the famous film—a food fight! April 29, 10 p.m., free, togas encouraged but not required for entry.

Dim Mak Mondays at XS Resident DJ Steve Aoki and his Dim Mak record label launch an exclusive edition of the Encore club’s IN Industry Night on Monday. Aoki will take the tables, with local beatmeister Dave Fogg opening. April 30, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, local ladies & industry professionals free.
