The defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants will kick off the season in exactly 20 weeks as three-point home favorites against the Dallas Cowboys.

As promised, the LVH SuperBook on Wednesday afternoon released its sides, totals and money lines for the full slate of Week 1 games in the NFL. The schedule includes the Cowboys and Giants on Wednesday, Sept. 5 — moved up a day because of President Barack Obama’s scheduled address on that Thursday — 13 games on Sunday, Sept. 9, and two games on Monday night.

The full NFL schedule was released to much fanfare Tuesday evening, getting hours of coverage on several networks, including ESPN and, of course, the NFL Network. But it was the online response through Twitter that really caught the eye of LVH Director Jay Kornegay. To capitalize on that buzz, LVH put together all of its numbers in time to get them out on Wednesday, several days ahead of schedule.

Joining the Giants as a favorite are the Super Bowl losers, the New England Patriots, who open as a 6.5-point road favorite at Tennessee. Other notable games include the Peyton Manning-led Denver Broncos (-2) hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers in prime time and the New Orleans Saints, who have dominated offseason discussions for all the wrong reasons, opening as 11-point favorites at home against the Washington Redskins.

The Redskins are the biggest underdog of the week, paying out +500 on the money line. Other big dogs include the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams, who are each getting 9.5 points and paying +425 on the money line, against the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions, respectively.

The SuperBook’s Super Bowl odds, which were updated after the schedule’s release, have the Green Bay Packers (5/1) and Patriots (6/1) as the favorites. The Broncos, who brought in Manning and shipped out Tim Tebow, are 15/1, while Tebow’s new team, the New York Jets, are 20/1.
