Station Casinos has turned to the company's customers for the latest evolution of its "We Love Locals" advertising campaign.
In TV commercials that began airing this week, Station customers offer testimonials about how they spend the loyalty card points they've accumulated at the company's various properties.
The first round of ads featured Station employees. Scott Kreeger, senior vice president of corporate operations for Station, said customers in focus groups saw the ads and asked if they could be a part of the campaign. Station then sent out notices asking people to audition for the spots.
"We expected about 700 people to show up," Kreeger said. "We had 1,700."







I'm not surprised. My wife and I have no complaints about Stations. Just recently they have even made it better for poker players, having points count towards higher comp levels and adding more free-rolls.
There is still room for improvement, but it seems like they are paying attention.
