A seventeen year old and probably another teen driving at 4 am in the morning, I'm sure that drugs and or booze weren't involved.
Bob, the basic journalistic rules you cite do indeed apply in Gregan's report:
Who: A 17-year-old male killed
What: A fatal automobile accident
When: Saturday morning "around 4 a.m."
Where: Centennial Center Boulevard south of Azure Drive
Why: Unknown at this point but loss of control of vehicle presumed
This was an incident report, not an in-depth article, your criticism of the reporting is unwarranted and petty seeing that the basic rules of J101 were met.
