Fire destroys mobile home, causes $100,000 damage

Mobile home fire

Firefighters battled a mobile home blaze Thursday evening near Carey Avenue and Nellis Boulevard that caused an estimated $100,000 in damage.

The Clark County Fire Department received a call around 6:40 p.m. of a fire at 2563 Two Knights Drive, fire officials said.

Strong winds fueled the fire that destroyed one man’s single story mobile home, which had several additions to the structure, officials said.

About 50 Clark County, Las Vegas and North Las Vegas firefighters extinguished the fire around 7:20 p.m., officials said.

No injuries were reported, officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
