HEAR

Modern Art Tour Four indie bands—Miniature Tigers, Geographer, The Chain Gang of 1974 and Speak—on one (what else) Brooklyn-based label. Geographer’s irresistible song “Kites” might be worth the ticket price on its own. April 5, 8:30 p.m., $10-$13, Beauty Bar.

SEE

Dreamhouse Artists Mary Warner, Mark Brandvik and Emily Kennerk, known for different approaches to exploring and rendering images of home, come together for a show questioning the American dream of owning a house. April 6-June 1, Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod.

DRINK

Barleywine Blowout It’s as strong as other wine, but it’s made from grain, like beer. Beer geek hangout Aces & Ales celebrates this underrated brew with $6 servings of barleywines like Ballast Point’s 3 Sheets, Big Sky’s Olde Bluehair and Lagunitas’ Olde GnarlyWine. Pair ’em with deep-fried Oreos and you’ve got one helluva night. April 7, 5 p.m., 3740 S. Nellis Blvd.

PLAY

EA Sports Bar It’s like your living room, only better. The new Cosmopolitan bar features PlayStation 3 consoles, HD TVs showing the games of the day and bean bag chairs. Oh yeah. Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-midnight; Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-1 a.m.
