Pickup found, driver sought in fatal Strip hit and run

LAS VEGAS — Police say a pickup truck found at a Las Vegas Strip hotel appears to be the one involved in the deadly hit-and-run of a pedestrian.

Police Officer Marcus Martin tells The Associated Press the vehicle was found late Monday in the parking garage at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas casino-hotel.

The driver hasn't been identified or arrested.

The Clark County coroner hasn't released the name of the man who died at University Medical Center after the 5:30 a.m. Monday crash at Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue.

The intersection has pedestrian overpass walkways and little direct pedestrian access to the street.

Police say the white Chevrolet pickup was seen on area security cameras leaving the scene after the crash.
